How can i connect my xbox 360 to my xp computer’s media center?

my xbox 360 is connected to my computer and i can get videos pictures and music but when i try the media center it says im not connected to a media center computer, but i can look at the files of my computer on my xbox 360. i visited the website my xbox told me to go to xbox.com/pcsetup and it told me to download windows media player 11 so i did and it didn’t ask for the verification code my xbox told me i needed. plus i also need to know how to get the mce browser to work, (thats the internet browser for microsoft connect or something) please help

Obviously, you will need an Xbox 360 and also the Xbox 360 Wireless Media Adaptor, a home network that can be either wired or wireless and an internet connection. The Media Center PC for Xbox 360 Setup has to be run to begin the setup process. The setup process guides the user through a step by step guide to connecting the Xbox 360 to the Media Center PC after it has made sure that Update Roller 2 is installed on to the Media Center PC. It is strongly recommended to run a program known as the Network Performance Tuner to make sure that all systems are performing perfectly.
