How do i fix Xbox 360 ring of death with 1 light, its the E 74 Error?

i was playing my xbox, and the screen got all blurry and wierd and the colours got all messed up. then the xbox froze, i turned it back on and there was the ring of death with 1 red light. on the screen, there was a thing that said ” Error E 74″ . people say that its’ easy to fix, how do i fix it without sending in my xbox, taking it apart, or spending lots of money? thanks

Since the E74 is the audio-visual card failing, there is no way to repair it without opening the system. As the other two say, the best bet would be to sent it back to Microsoft. Call them up at 1-800-4MY-XBOX or go to the service section of their site at Xbox.com. The good news is that you get a free 1 month card back when your system returns.

Don’t send anything but the system, no hard drive, no disk, no etc.

How to get my ps3 and Xbox 360 online?

I want to know that since ps3 has a wifi connection, I would connect that to my router downstairs, but since my ps3 is online with the wifi connection could i plug in a Ethernet cable in my ps3 and the other side in xbox 360, then connect my xbox 360 to the xbox live since its running off of the ps3′s 100% signal connection?

No. The internet connection has to be coming from the router because that is where the main connection is. You router is sending out the connection and your PS3 is just receiving it. The PS3 doesn’t send out the connection so it won’t work that way. The only way to have both of them online at the same time is if you have a long ethernet cord and plug it into the back of your router all the way to your 360, then you PS3 is receiving the connection from the wifi. Then they will both be running off the router.

What’s a good PC app for cropping mp4 video to playback on Xbox?

I’m basically trying to get rid of those annoying black bars on the top and bottom of a ripped mp4 video with h.264 codex. I can’t seem to find an app for such a purpose that plays on my xbox 360. I haven’t had any luck with VirtualDub since it doesn’t support mp4 files and I don’t want to convert it to avi or anything because it’s actually a blu ray rip in an mp4 container and I don’t want to loose quality. I also tried Adobe Premiere Pro but for some reason I get an audio error through xbox even tho I demuxed audio with Yamb.
